Save Pins from the web

Did you know you can save images from websites as Pins? You can do this two ways:

Share a link to the image when you’re creating a Pin

Add the Pinterest Save Extension to your preferred internet browser

Save an image with a link

Click Create at the top-left of your screen, then select the option to create a Pin

Select the option to Save from site or Save from URL

Enter the website URL

Click to load available images

Select an image and click Add Pin

Tip: Select multiple images to save several images as Pins

Add a title and description

Select a board for your Pin from the drop-down menu at the top-right of your screen

You can go to your Pinterest profile to view your new Pin or keep browsing to save more images.

Tap at the bottom of the screen, then select the option to create a Pin

Tap

Enter the web address and tap Search

Select the images you want to add to your Pin and tap Next

Tip: Select multiple images to save several images as Pins

Save an image with the Pinterest Save Extension

The Pinterest Save Extension is a fast and easy way to save images to Pinterest. Before following the steps below, be sure to add the Pinterest Save Extension to your preferred browser.

Add the Pinterest Save Extension to your preferred browser.

Make sure you’re logged in to your Pinterest account.

Open a new browser window or tab on your computer.

Navigate to the website with the image you want to save.

Click the Pinterest icon on your browser’s toolbar.

Select the image you want to save, then click Next or Select all.

Select a board for your Pin, then click Save.

Add the Pinterest Save Extension to your favorites in your mobile browser.

On any webpage, click .

Tap the Pinterest icon.

Choose one or more images you'd like to save as a Pin, then tap Next (each image will be its own Pin).

Select a board for your Pin.

Tap See Pin to check out your new Pin.

Click the Pinterest icon, or click Save to Pinterest in the list below the icons.

Choose one or more images you'd like to save as a Pin (each image will be its own Pin).

Tap if you want to change the pre-selected board for your Pin, then tap Save.

Tap View to check out your new Pin.
