Your home feed recommends Pins based on the creators you follow, and your boards, topics, and browsing history.

Use the home feed tuner to customize what appears in your home feed. 

The home feed tuner lets you customize your preferences based on your:

  • Activity: Turn off recommendations based on Pins you have looked at.
  • Boards: Turn off recommendations based on specific boards.
  • Interests: Remove topics you no longer wish to see recommendations for.
  • Following: See and edit who you follow on Pinterest.

    Recommendations are automatically turned off for archived boards and secret boards. Your secret boards are labeled with a lock in the home feed tuner and you can turn recommendations from your secret boards on at any time.

    Turning on or off recommendations won’t affect the ads you see on your home feed. You can limit the information Pinterest uses to pick which ads you see.

    Access the home feed tuner
  • Log into your Pinterest account
  • Click at the top-right corner
  • Select Tune your home feed
  • Click the Activity, Boards, Interests or Following tab and edit the Pins, boards, topics or profiles you no longer want to receive recommendations for

  • Open the Pinterest app on your mobile device and log into your Pinterest account
  • Tap your profile picture at the bottom-right corner
  • Tap at the top-right corner
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Home feed tuner
  • Tap the Boards, Activity, Interests or Following tab and edit the boards, Pins, topics or profiles you no longer want to receive recommendations for

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest account
  • Tap your profile picture at the bottom-right corner
  • Tap at the top-right corner
