To provide you with the most inspirational, personalized experience on Pinterest, we use information about your activity off and on Pinterest. For example, if we see you’re into cooking based on what you save on Pinterest, we may suggest food-related Pins, boards, or people we think you might like. You can update your privacy and data sharing settings to adjust how we share and use certain information.

Our Privacy Policy includes more about how Pinterest processes your personal data and the choices you have about your information. If you live in the EEA or California, review our specific policy sections to learn more about data options available to you.

    Inferred signals about you

If you're located in the EU, you can choose whether Pinterest can use certain data to personalize the ideas you see. This data includes things like Pins you've clicked on before, demographic information, and your Pinterest search history. To manage this setting, find Inferred signals about you, then check or uncheck the box or toggle the switch.

    Edit your profile

You can edit your profile to change what information about you is displayed on your Pins and public profile. For extra privacy, you can change your name.

    Use secret boards

You can save Pins to a secret board that only you (and anyone you invite) can view.
