After creating a campaign and ad group in Ads Manager, you’ll select Pins to promote. These ads will be shown to your target audience on Pinterest. You can create new Pins or promote Pins that you've saved before. If you want to promote a Pin from a group board, you’ll need to save it to one of your own boards before promoting it.

Note: Secret boards and Pins can not be promoted through ads.
