Here are some common reasons why people can't log in to Pinterest.
Forgot your email address
If you forgot your email address, you can get a hint to help you remember it. Go to pinterest.com/password/reset and enter your name or username.
Forgot your password
Reset your password if you just can't remember your old one. Go to pinterest.com/password/reset to request a new password. Keep in mind that you'll need access to the email connected to your Pinterest account in order to reset your password.
We protected your account
If we notice any strange activity on your Pinterest account, we'll send you an email, reset your password, and log everyone out (including you). To get back on Pinterest, reset your password. Or, if your account's connected to Google or Facebook and you've logged in that way before, log in with Google or Facebook.
We've suspended your account
If your account's suspended, you'll see an error message when you try to log in. It may be because you did something that went against our Acceptable Use Policy. If you think we shouldn't have suspended your account, get in touch with us.
Can't log in with Facebook or Google
If you're having trouble logging in to Pinterest with Facebook or Google, you may need to adjust some settings on your Facebook app or Google account.
Created another account by accident
If your Pins and boards are missing or you recently got a new phone and things suddenly look different, you may have accidentally created a new account. Log out and search for your original account at pinterest.com/password/reset.
If you still can't log in to Pinterest, let us know.
