Pinterest is a visual discovery engine for finding ideas like recipes, home and style inspiration, and more.

Set up a Pinterest account to discover Pins you love, and save them to boards to keep your ideas organised and easy to find.

If you’ve never used Pinterest before, you can create a new personal account.

If you’ve used Pinterest before and would like to create an additional account that’s separate from your existing personal account and uses a different email, you can create a second account.
Create a personal account

Create a new personal account to discover Pins and save them to boards.

Creating an account means you accept Pinterest’s Community guidelines and Privacy Policy.
  1. Go to Pinterest
  2. Enter your email address, create a password, then enter your age
  3. Click Continue
  4. Click Next
  5. Select how you identify
  6. Select your language and country/region from the dropdown menus
  7. Select 5 or more topics
  8. Click Done

Download the Pinterest app onto your device to create a Pinterest account.

  1. Open the Pinterest app on your device
  2. Enter your email address, then tap Continue
  3. Create a password, then tap Next
  4. Enter your full name, then tap Next
  5. Enter your age, then tap Next
  6. Select how you identify
  7. Select your country or region, then tap Next
  8. Select 5 or more topics, then tap Next
  9. If you like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done or tap Skip

Download the Pinterest app onto your device to create a Pinterest account.

Create an additional personal account

If you already have a personal account but would like to create an additional account, you can do so using a different email address. You can then connect your accounts to switch between linked accounts easily.

Creating an account means you accept Pinterest’s Community guidelines and Privacy Policy.
  1. Log in to your personal Pinterest account
  2. In the top right-hand corner of your screen, click , then click Add account
  3. Under Create a new personal account, click Create
  4. Enter your email address, create a password, then enter your age
  5. Click Continue
  6. If you like, click  to change your name, then click Next
  7. Select how you identify
  8. Select your language and country/region from the dropdown menus
  9. Select 5 or more topics
  10. Click Done
  1. Open the Pinterest app on your device and log in to your personal Pinterest account
  2. In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, tap your profile picture
  3. In the top right-hand corner of your screen, tap
  4. Tap Add account
  5. Tap Create a new personal account
  6. Enter your email address, then tap Continue
  7. Create a password, then tap Next
  8. Enter your full name, then tap Next
  9. Enter your age, then tap Next
  10. Select how you identify
  11. Select your country or region, then tap Next
  12. Select 5 or more topics, then tap Next
  13. If you like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done or tap Skip
  1. Open the Pinterest app on your device and log in to your personal Pinterest account
  2. In the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, tap your profile picture

  5. Tap Create a new personal account

  13. If you like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done or tap Skip
Convert your personal account to a business account

If you have a personal account but would like to use your account for business purposes, you can convert your personal account to a business account. If you decide to convert your account, you’ll still keep all of your existing Pins and followers. You can switch back to a personal account at any time.
