Group boards

Group boards are a great way to share ideas and plans. To create a group board, invite friends to one of your existing boards.

Invite friends to collaborate on your board

  1. From your profile, click into a board
  2. Click Invite
  3. Search by first name and surname, username, or email address
  4. Click Invite next to the friends you want to add as collaborators

Your friends will get an email or notification about your invitation. To send an invitation outside Pinterest, click Copy link. Your friends can accept or decline the invitation after clicking the link.

  1. From your profile, open your board
  2. Tap under your board title
  3. Pick a recommended person, or search by first name and surname, username, or email address
  4. Select the people you want to add to your board
  5. Tap to exit when you've finished

Reactions

You can react to Pins to show how you feel to other people in your group or help make decisions while collaborating on a project.

You can react to a Pin in different ways:

  • Clap
  • Heart
  • Lightbulb
  • Question
  • Thumbs down

React to a Pin

  1. From your profile, click into a group board
  2. Hover over a Pin then hover over the heart to the top left of the Pin
  3. Select your reaction

  2. Press and hold the heart in the bottom-right corner of a Pin
  3. Select your reaction

Sort your group board

You can sort your group board to see the ideas that are most important to you. You can see the most-liked Pins first.

This feature is currently only available on desktop.

Group board settings

As the owner of a group board, you manage the board's settings. This means you can make the board public or secret, remove Pins and people from the board, and allow more people to join.
