Shop the Look lets people find products from fashion to home décor Pins, making it easier to bring their inspiration to life. Pins have a the search icon to the bottom right in close-up. When clicked, white dots will appear that tag different parts of the look. People can tap the dots to view and shop the same or similar products to those featured in the Pin.

If you have a Pinterest business profile, Shop the Look tagging allows you to manually tag Pins from your claimed website with product links from any domain. If you are a retailer with a large product feed and would prefer to bulk upload Shop the Look Pins, we recommend you use Catalogues or work with our partners Olapic and Curalate to create Shop the Look Pins.

Tag products in a collections Pin

If you have a Pinterest business account, you can manually tag your collections Pin with product links. Once you link your main Pin to your claimed website, you’ll be able to tag your products with links from any domain.

  1. From your desktop, click the red plus icon in the top-right corner, then click Create Pin
  2. Upload an image and add a Pin title, description and destination link
  3. Click the tag icon
  4. Click the plus circle icon
  5. Select whether you want to add an existing Pin, enter a URL or select a product ID from an existing Catalog
    • Your Pins: Search by Pin title or description
    • URL: Enter a website URL for a product
    • Catalog: Enter an exact match of an uploaded product ID using lowercase letters
  6. Repeat steps 4-5 until you have 3 or more products, then click Save products
  7. Click Done
  8. Choose a board to save your collection to from the dropdown menu and click Publish

When you add a product URL via the 'Add a Pin' flow, you’ll create a product Pin that lives on a protected board. Only you can view your protected boards, and they are not visible to other people on Pinterest. You can access your protected boards by scrolling to the bottom of your profile, past your secret boards.
