Pins are visual bookmarks that people use to save content they love on Pinterest. People can search for Pins, save the ones they like and click on a Pin to learn more.
You can upload an image or video to Pinterest directly from your mobile device or computer. A Pin can be a standalone image or video, or with the Pinterest app, you can upload multiple images and videos in one Pin to tell a more comprehensive story. All the Pins you create will appear on the Created tab of your profile.

Once you’ve selected the images and videos you want to include in your Pin, you have the option to add effects like text overlay, stickers, music and more.
Add text: Select Add text layer in the bottom left-hand corner to add overlay text. Choose a font style, font size, text alignment, colour and highlight.
Orientation: Choose a landscape or portrait orientation.
Aspect ratio: Resize your image or video by adjusting the aspect ratio from 1:2, 9:16, 2:3, 3:4, 4:5 or 1:1.
Background colour: Click the drop-down menu to select or change the background colour.

When you add a link to your Pin, you’re giving your audience a clear next step. Many Pinterest creators like to send people on Pinterest to their blog, website or another website they’re affiliated with.

Before publishing your Pin, make sure you take a final look to ensure it looks right and has all the correct details. This includes reviewing the overall design and any details you’ve added like a title, cover image, tags and link.
After publishing, you can edit a Pin’s title, board and a few other descriptive details. However, you cannot make changes to the image, video or audio contents of your Pin once it’s been published. If you want to do that, you’ll need to create a new Pin.

You can choose whether people on Pinterest can download your full-screen video Pins. If you turn on the download option, your full-screen video Pins can be downloaded and a watermark of your username will appear at the bottom.
