Accidentally created a second account

If your Pins and boards are missing or you recently got a new phone and things suddenly look different, you may have accidentally created a new account.

To get back into your original account

  1. Go to pinterest.com/logout to make sure you're logged out
  2. Go to pinterest.com/password/reset/ to search for your original account
  3. Click This is me then Send to get a password reset email
  4. Check the email associated with your original account
  5. Follow the steps in the password reset email
  6. Go to pinterest.com/login to log in with your original email address and new password

  2. Go to pinterest.com/password/reset/ to search for your original account
  3. Tap Send to get a password reset email
  4. Check the email address associated with your original account
  5. Follow the steps in the password reset email
  6. Log in to Pinterest with your original email address and new password
  1. Go to pinterest.com/logout to make sure you're logged out
  2. Go to pinterest.com/password/reset/ to search for your original account
  3. Tap Send to get a password reset email
  4. Check the email address associated with your original account
  5. Follow the steps in the password reset email
  6. Log in to Pinterest with your original email address and new password

Once you're logged in to your original account, you can search for the accidental account name and save Pins from there.

If you created the new account with an email address, you can log in one last time to deactivate the account.

If you created the new account with Facebook or Google+, disconnect the account from your social network in your settings so you can connect your original account instead.
