The Pinterest music library features a variety of royalty-free songs, all ready to add to your next Pin. When you're ready to create your next Pin, follow the steps below to add music.
This feature is only available on the Pinterest app. Follow along in the Android or iOS section of this article with your mobile device.
- Tap the media camera icon to record and upload a new photo or video
- If you select multiple images and videos, they'll be stitched together into a single video Pin
- If you're creating a Pin with a single image, you'll need to tap the pencil icon at the top-right corner of your image to go into edit mode.
- Tap individual tracks to play a music preview
- Tap the search bar to find a list of recently played songs
- Tap the camera icon to record and upload a new photo or video

You can adjust the start time of the track by moving the music bar on top of your video. Tap the filter icon to adjust the sound level of the music, as well as the volume of the original audio.
Keep the following guidelines in mind when adding music to your Pins:
If your Pin is muted, we'll notify you via email and in your Pinterest account. Due to legal requirements, you cannot opt out of receiving these notifications.
If you believe the audio of your Pin was removed in error if, for instance, you own the rights to the relevant music, follow the appeal instructions in the email you received.
