Add notes to your Pins

You can add private notes to individual Pins on your boards. Only you and board collaborators will be able to see them.

Create a note to self

Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of your screen to open your profile

Go to your Saved tab

Click one of your boards to open it, then select a Pin from the board

Click Add note (you may need to scroll down)

Enter your note

Click Done

Note: At this time, the option to add notes to Pins is limited on mobile devices. If you don’t see the option to add a note to a Pin, switch to a desktop browser.

Open the Pinterest app on your device and log in

Tap your profile picture on the bottom-right of your screen to open your saved tab/profile

Tap into your Pins tab

If you have a Pinterest business account, tap Saved instead

Select a Pin

Scroll down and look for the option to Add a note to self

If you don't see this option, tap the ellipsis icon at the top-right corner of the Pin, then tap the edit option

Enter your note

Tap Done

Scroll down and look for the option to Add a note to self

Enter your note

Tap Done

Edit or delete a note

To edit or delete a note you’ve added to a Pin, select the Edit option next to an existing note. From there, you can update your note or you can select the trash-can icon to delete it.
