You can edit and delete the Pins you’ve created and saved on Pinterest. Before deleting a Pin, make sure you no longer want the Pin to appear on your profile or board since deleted Pins cannot be recovered. 

Depending on the Pin, you may be able to edit a Pin’s title, details, description, link, note to self, board, section and comment settings. The details you can edit vary based on how the Pin was created. 

Keep in mind, you cannot edit a Pin’s image, video or audio contents once it’s been published. Instead, you’ll need to create a new Pin.
How to edit a Pin
  • Log in to your Pinterest account
  • Click your profile picture at the top-right of your screen
  • Look through your Pins until you find the Pin you want to edit
  • Click the Pin to open it
  • Click , then select Edit Pin
  • Update the details you want to change
    • Depending on the Pin, you may have the option to edit the following:
      • Title
      • Description
      • Link
      • Board 
      • Comment settings
      • Note to self
  • Click Save to save your changes

  • Open the Pinterest app and log in to your account
  • Tap your profile picture at the bottom-right of your screen
  • Look through your Pins until you find the Pin you want to edit
  • Tap the Pin to open it
  • Tap in the top-right corner of the Pin, then tap the edit option
  • Update the details you want to change
    • Depending on the Pin, you may have the option to edit the following:

      • Link
      • Board

  • Tap Done to save your changes

    Note: Once a Pin is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  • Look through your Pins until you find the Pin you want to edit
  • Tap the Pin to open it
  • Tap in the top-right corner of the Pin, then tap the edit option
  • Tap Delete this Pin or at the bottom of the screen
  • Tap Delete to confirm
