You can send and receive messages from other people on Pinterest. Groups of people you might have contact with on Pinterest include followers, collaborators, and those you follow. You can select one of the following message settings for each group of people:

  • Inbox, for people you want to receive messages from
  • Requests, for people you may accept or deny messages from
  • Don’t deliver, ‌for people you don’t want to receive any messages from
  • If you're a teen, you'll have limited options for how you send and receive messages.  As you get older, your settings will adjust to allow you to contact more people. Our message settings are designed to allow safe connections with people you know, but you can always choose to make these settings more restrictive. Learn more about teen safety on Pinterest.
