Your profile lets you share details about yourself with other people on Pinterest. You can find your profile and access settings to change your information any time. If you do not want to receive emails from Pinterest, learn how to unsubscribe from email notifications.
Edit your photo
Your photo appears at the top of your profile, below your cover photo. It also shows in the home feed under the Pins you create.
Edit your name
Your name shows at the top of your profile and at the bottom of the Pins you've created in the home feed. You’ll always need to add your first name. If you want to, you can also add your last name.
Edit your username
Through your username, Pinterest is able to create a unique web address for your profile. For example, Pinterest has the username “Pinterest” and can be found at www.pinterest.com/Pinterest. Remember, your username:
- Needs to be made up of just letters or a combination of letters, numbers and underscores
- Needs to be between three and 30 characters
- Cannot have spaces, punctuation marks or be made up of just numbers
Edit your pronouns
You can optionally add your pronouns to your profile to express yourself. You can select up to two sets of pronouns.

Edit your bio
Let others on Pinterest know more about yourself and what you’re interested in.
Edit your location
Sharing your location is optional on Pinterest. You can add information about where you live, but it’s best to keep details like your address and zip code private.
