We care about the privacy of your teenager. This article explains our age requirements, the privacy options available to Pinterest users, and the resources available to you if you suspect your underage child is on the platform.

At Pinterest, we don’t let anyone under the age of 13 create a Pinterest account. If you’re located in the EEA, we don’t allow children under your country’s minimum age of consent (this can range from age 13-16) to create an account. Because we don’t allow children under the minimum age to create accounts, we don’t request your consent before your teenager joins Pinterest.

We make sure that your teenager has control over their information. Visit this article if you want a quick explanation of your teen’s choices about data. You can also visit our privacy policy for more information about how we collect, use, and share data.

Your teen can request to access or edit their information, or delete their account. To respect Pinners’ privacy, only the account holder has the ability to access their information or delete their account.

If your child has a Pinterest account and is under 13 (or your country’s minimum age), please email us at privacy-support [at] pinterest.com to ask us to delete their account.

We recommend that you speak to your teenager about the importance of their privacy and the options they have. If you have any questions, please email us at privacy-support [at] pinterest.com.
