Promoted Pins are Pins that businesses pay to promote. They appear where you’re most likely to notice them. The Promoted Pins you see are based on your activity on an advertiser's site or on Pinterest.
If you see a Promoted Pin that doesn't interest you, you can hide it. Pinterest uses your feedback to make sure you see more relevant Promoted Pins in the future.
If you don't want to see Promoted Pins from a specific advertiser, you can block the advertiser's Pinterest profile. You can block up to 1,000 advertisers.
While you can't turn off Promoted Pins completely, you can limit the kinds of information we use to pick which Promoted Pins you see.
