Report something on Pinterest

If you find a Pin that violates our Acceptable Use Policy, you can report it to us anonymously. We'll review your report and take action if we find something unacceptable. To stop seeing all of someone's Pins or to prevent someone from following you, block their profile.

Report a Pin

  1. Click on the Pin to open the Pin closeup
  2. Click   at the top of the Pin
  3. Click Report Pin
  4. Pick your reason for reporting, then click Next
  5. Click Done

Report a comment

  1. Click into the Pin
  2. Click   to the right of the comment
  3. Click Report
  4. Pick the reason for your report and click Report message

  2. Tap Comments then tap on the comment you want to report
  3. Tap   to the right of the comment
  4. Tap Report
  5. Pick the reason for your report

Report a message

  1. Click   to open your messages
  2. Click on a message thread
  3. Hover your cursor near the   and click  
  4. Pick a reason to report the message
  5. Click Report message
  1. Tap  then tap Inbox
  2. Tap on a conversation to open it
  3. Tap   in the top right corner
  4. Tap Report this conversation
  5. Pick a reason to report the message
  1. Tap   then tap Inbox
  2. Tap on a message thread to open it
  3. Tap   in the top right corner
  4. Tap Report thread
  5. Pick a reason to report the message

Report someone's note or photo on a Pin

  1. Click   on the note or photo you want to report
  2. Click Report this content
  3. Pick a reason for your report
  4. Click Report content
  1. Click   on the note or photo you want to report
  2. Click Report
  3. Pick a reason for your report
  1. Click   on the note or photo you want to report
  2. Click Report
  3. Pick a reason for your report

You’ll still be able to see someone’s account, boards, Pins and comments after you report them. To see less of their content, you can unfollow this board, unfollow this profile, or block this user in addition to reporting.
