For the smoothest mobile experience, we recommend using the Pinterest app from the App Store, Google Play, or the Amazon Appstore. If you're using a version of the iOS app prior to 7.4.1 or a version of the Android app prior to 7.4.1, you'll need to upgrade to the most recent version or use mobile-web to keep using Pinterest.

If you're using an Android device on an OS prior or equal to 4.4 or an iOS device on an OS prior to 9.0, you won't be able to update the Pinterest app.

If the mobile device or tablet you're using has an older version of Android or iOS, you can see if there is an update available. 

If you're able to update to Android greater than 4.4, or iOS greater than 9.0, you'll be able to update the Pinterest app.

If you're using an Android device on an OS prior or equal to 4.4 or an iOS device on an OS prior to 9.0, and can't upgrade, you can use Pinterest on the web.

If you have the app installed, some links on Pinterest will still try to open with the app.  Uninstalling the app from this device will allow you to view those links in your mobile browser instead.

If you're using the web (Chrome or Safari) to access Pinterest on your mobile device, you can add Pinterest.com to your home screen.
