Add the Pinterest browser button

The Pinterest browser button makes it easy to save creative ideas from around the web—like a recipe from your favorite food blog or a photo from a travel site. All you have to do is add the Pinterest browser button to your favorite browser, and you're ready to go.

  1. Add the Pinterest browser button to your Chrome bookmarks bar. (You can also get our button from the Chrome web store
  2. Click Get our browser button

After installing, you'll see a Pin It button any time you mouse over an image. Or, click the red P at the top of your browser whenever you find something on the web you want to save.

If you find yourself distracted by the hovering Pin It buttons, you can turn them off:

  1. Right-click the P at the top of your browser and click Options
  2. Click Hide hovering Pin It buttons

  1. Add the Pinterest browser button to your Firefox bookmarks bar.
  2. Click Get our browser button

If you can't find the button, paste this into your address bar instead: https://about.pinterest.com/assets/ext/Pinterest-Firefox.xpi
