Limits for Pins, boards, likes and following

To keep Pinterest running quickly, there's a limit the total number of Pins, boards and follows we can store. You can have up to:

  1. 500 boards (This includes secret boards and group boards you didn't create.)
  2. 200,000 Pins (This includes secret Pins and your Pins on group boards you didn't create. This doesn't include other people's Pins on group boards you created.)
  3. 50,000 follows

Looking for your liked Pins? You can find them on a secret board we created for you called “Your Pinterest Likes.” This is a normal board that you can save new Pins to, edit, or share with others by making it public. Please take a quick survey to let us know what you think about this change.

If you got an error that you hit a limit, try deleting some Pins or boards, or unfollowing people. You can also create a new account with another email address.

Tips and Troubleshooting

If you hit a limit the best thing to do is to create a new Pinterest account with another email address. These limits keep Pinterest running quickly, so we can't make exceptions.
