If you come across something that goes against our policies, you can report it to us. We'll review your report and take action if we find something unacceptable.

Our policies apply to both secret and public boards. When we remove a Pin from Pinterest, we also remove it from any secret boards it’s on.

We review all reports manually, but occasionally we make mistakes. We’re really sorry if this ever happens to you! If you think we made a mistake, get in touch with us.

We take reports seriously, and want to make sure we’re getting bad stuff off Pinterest as quickly as possible. If we notice you’re reporting lots of stuff that doesn’t go against our policies, we’ll have to ignore your future reports. Keep in mind that reporting Pins doesn’t automatically remove someone’s Pins or profile—we review reports to decide if something should be removed.

We have policies and tools in place to keep Pinterest a safe and trustworthy site. If you're seeing a message that says "You may have saved content we don't allow," make sure to review the policy.

  • Click Review our policy
  • Click Okay to confirm

If your account’s suspended, you’ll see an error message when you try to log in. It may be because you did something that went against our Acceptable Use Policy. Sometimes we make mistakes though, so if you think we shouldn’t have suspended your account, get in touch with us.
