Some revisions to our terms of service and privacy policy

On November 1, 2016, we updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you keep using Pinterest after November 1, 2016, you’re letting us know that you’re okay with the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and that you’ve read and agreed to both.

• Terms of Service
• Business Terms of Service
• Privacy Policy

What's the main change?

If you live outside the United States, our products and services will be provided to you by Pinterest Europe Limited, an Irish company based in Dublin. Don’t worry, it’s the same Pinterest you know and love—this is just our official international offshoot. If you have questions about your information, Pinterest Europe Limited is the data controller you should get in touch with. Its address is Palmerstown House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.

If you live in the United States, our products and services will still be provided by Pinterest, Inc, based in San Francisco, California. Pinterest, Inc will continue to be responsible for your information.

What else is changing?

In addition to updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, we’re updating our Cookies Policy. This policy will help you understand how, where and why Pinterest uses cookies, and what choices you have with them.

Why are you making these changes?

As Pinterest becomes a truly global service, we thought it was important to clarify our data practices and who’s responsible for your information.

Will the changes affect the way I can use Pinterest?

Not at all—your Pinterest experience will stay the same. You'll be able to do everything you were able to do before.

What should I do if I'm not okay with the changes?

If you're not okay with the changes, you can close your account. But before you do that, please get in touch with us so we can help you with any questions you have.

Remember, if you keep using Pinterest after November 1, 2016, you’re letting us know that you’re okay with the updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and that you’ve read and agreed to both.
