What are Promoted Pins?

Promoted Pins are Pins that businesses pay to appear where you're more likely to notice them. The Promoted Pins you see are based on your interests and things you do on Pinterest, or because you visited an advertiser’s site or app.

If you don’t like a Promoted Pin, tap the three-dot button that appears on each Promoted Pin, and pick "I'm not into this Pin". Pinterest uses your feedback to help make sure you see more interesting and relevant Promoted Pins in the future. If you don't want to see Promoted Pins from a specific advertiser, you can block their Pinterest profile. You may block up to 1,000 advertisers. After that we'll start showing you Promoted Pins from advertisers you've previously blocked.

While you can't turn off Promoted Pins completely, you can limit the kinds of information we use to pick which Promoted Pins you see.
