Add community information

If you have a business account, you can self-identify as belonging to an underrepresented group. If you self-identify, your profile might be highlighted and featured across our platform, in places such as the Today tab

If you cannot see the option to add community information in your business hub, you might need to complete a few steps such as claiming your website, installing the Pinterest taguploading your catalogcreating a Pin or setting up billing

Note: This information will not be used for ads targeting.

Add community information

Adding community information can only be done on a desktop.

  1. Log into your Pinterest business account
  2. From your business hub, click Add now below Add community information
  3. Click the directional chevron down icon next to Select all that apply
  4. Select all of the options that apply to your business in the list
  5. Click Submit
  6. Click Done

Update your community information

To protect your information, if you decide to update your community information, you will not see your previous selection. Your updated choice will override your previous one. 

  1. Log into your Pinterest business account
  2. Click the directional chevron down icon in the top-right corner of your screen
  3. Select Settings
  4. Click Account settings from the left-side navigation
  5. Below Community information, click the directional chevron down icon next to Select all that apply
  6. Select all of the options that apply to your business in the list
  7. Click Done at the top of your screen

Delete your community information

If you decide to delete your community information, your business will not be considered to be featured across the platform. 

  1. Log into your Pinterest business account
  2. Click the directional chevron down icon in the top-right corner of your screen
  3. Select Settings
  4. Click Account settings from the left-side navigation
  5. Below Community information, click Delete data
  6. Click Clear
