Edit Promoted Pins

You can edit campaigns, ads groups or ads from Ads Manager. Edit specific aspects of a campaign, ad group or Promoted Pin, or edit multiple entities at a time.

Edit page

Click   next to the campaign, ad group, or Promoted Pin you'd like to edit to reach the editing page. 

  1. Click Ads then Reporting to access the reporting view of your campaigns
  2. Filter by campaign objective and date range, then click the "Campaigns," "Ad groups," or "Ads" tab to find the components you want to edit
  3. Click the checkbox in the Action column for the campaigns, ad groups, or Promoted Pins you want to edit
  4. Click Edit
  5. Make your changes then click Save changes

You can stop a campaign by using any of these edit methods. As soon as you pause your campaign, ad group, or Promoted Pin, it will stop running and will not incur any additional spend.

In-line editing

Edit individual ad components right from the reporting table.

  1. Click Ads then Reporting to access the reporting view of your campaigns
  2. Filter by campaign objective by clicking Objective and set a date range by clicking  
  3. Select the "Campaigns," "Ad groups," or "Ads" tab to find the components you want to edit
  4. Hover over editable fields in the reporting table and click  
  5. Make your edits and click Save

At the campaign level, you can edit the campaign name and spend limits. At the ad group level, you can edit the ad group name, budget, bid, start date (if it’s in the future and ad group has not started yet), and end date. At the Promoted Pin level, you can edit the Promoted Pin name and destination URL.

To edit the campaign, ad group, or Promoted Pin status, toggle the switch in the "Off/On" column.

Multi-row editing

Use multi-row editing to pause, activate, and archive campaigns, ad groups, and Promoted Pins.

  1. Click Ads then Reporting to access the reporting view of your campaigns
  2. Filter by campaign objective and date range, then select the "Campaigns," "Ad groups," or "Ads" tab to find the components you want to edit
  3. Click the checkboxes in the "Action" column for the campaigns, ad groups, or Promoted Pins you want to edit
  4. Choose the action you want to complete for all selected entities and click on the corresponding button

You can change the status (pause, activate, or archive) of selected entities when you select campaigns, ad groups, or Promoted Pins. Keep in mind that once you archive something, it can't be restored. Learn more about archiving.

At the ad group level, you can edit multiple bids and budgets. You can set all bids and budgets to a specific amount or you can choose to increase or decrease all bids and budgets by an absolute value or percentage. To put a cap on the bids or budgets that you're editing, check the box next to "Do not exceed" and enter your max bid or budget.
