When you search for a keyword or select one of the top trends, you’ll see the information on a graph. Pinterest normalizes search volume by only considering the ratio of searches for each trend to the total number of searches that happened on our platform during the same time frame. To make comparisons between terms easier, the highest point of the search term is indexed to 100, and the lowest point is indexed to 0 on each plot. The rest of the points on the plot are proportional to the highest and lowest point.
Further below, under Demographics, you can review the age and gender distribution for each keyword you’ve searched for and added to the graph. At the bottom of the page, under Popular Pins, you’ll see search results for top Pins based on these keywords. Click any of these Pins to see actual Pinterest search results for these keywords.
If you decide to create an advertising campaign based on the data you see, click Create campaign at the top-right of your screen.
View searches on the graph as they were during a particular time frame.
Enter up to four keywords in the search bar at one time to compare their popularity on the graph. To remove keywords from the graph, click the x icon to the right of each term. Additionally, you can select a keyword below Related trends to compare it on the graph. Click the directional chevron right icon to explore the full list.
