Placement determines where we show your ads on Pinterest. When you set up your ad group, we default to showing your ads everywhere, allowing you to reach the maximum number of Pinners. You also have the ability to choose your placements to target more specific user behavior.

Choose "Browse" to show your ads as people browse in their home feed. Choose "Search" to show your ads in search results. In both cases, your ads will also surface in related Pins. To test the most effective placement for your ads, you can have multiple ad groups in one campaign with different placement for each.

To begin, we recommend targeting all placements, to maximize your chances of reaching people across all areas of Pinterest.
