With a business account, you can schedule standard Pins for future posting. You can schedule Pins up to 30 days in advance in your current time zone on Android and iOS, and up to 14 days in advance on desktop. Though you can only schedule one Pin at a time, you can have up to 100 Pins scheduled for the future.

Once your Pins are scheduled, you can change still your mind and publish the Pin immediately or delete it. To access your scheduled Pins, go to your profile and click the Created tab.

Note: It may take a few minutes for scheduled Pins to appear. You may need to refresh the feed before you see your scheduled Pins.

  • Log into your Pinterest business account
  • Click Create at the top-left of your screen, then click Create Pin

  • Select an image or video for your Pin and add a title, description and the destination link

  • Select Publish at a later date and choose the day and time you’d like to publish your Pin

  • Choose an existing board to save your Pin to from the drop-down menu, or select Create board to create a new one

  • Click Publish

    Delete scheduled Pins

    To delete Pins you've already scheduled, click the Created tab. You'll see your scheduled Pins above all of your published Pins. Click the ellipsis icon at the bottom of the Pin you'd like to delete and select Delete

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest business account
  • Tap  the plus icon
  • Tap Pin

  • Take a photo for your Pin by tapping the camera icon or select any existing image or video from your device, then tap Next

  • Add a Title, Description and the Destination website

  • Below Schedule date, tap  the arrow forward icon and select the date and time you'd like to publish your Pin

  • Tap Done

  • Under Alt text, you can describe your Pin's visual details

  • Tap Next

  • Choose an existing board to save your Pin to or tap Create board to create a new one

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest business account
  • Tap  the plus icon
  • Tap Pin

  • Take a photo for your Pin by tapping the camera icon or select any existing image or video from your device, then tap Next

  • Add a Title, Description and the Destination website

  • Below Schedule date, tap the edit icon  and select the date and time you'd like to publish your Pin

  • Tap Done

  • Under Alt text, you can describe your Pin's visual details

    Schedule an Idea Pin

     

    You can schedule up to 100 Idea Pins as many as 30 days in advance. Once your Idea Pin has been scheduled, you can update your Pin’s scheduled publish date but you cannot make changes to the image and video content of your Pin. However, you can still make changes to some of its components, such as its title and board.

     

     

     

    At this time, you can only schedule Idea Pins on mobile devices.

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest account.
  • Tap the the add icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap Idea Pin.
  • Tap the the camera icon  to record up to 60 seconds of video or select 1 or more photos or videos from your device.
    • If you select photos or videos from your device, you can choose to add them to one page or create a new page for each photo or video.
    • If you want to work on a previously saved draft, tap the folder icon in the bottom-right corner to select an Idea Pin draft.
    • If you record a video in the app, you can tap Speed to speed up or slow down your video clip.
    • If you record a video in the app, you can tap Timer to set a 3-second or 10-second timer to record videos without tapping down the record button. If you recorded a video in the app, tap Flash to turn on the flash on your mobile device.
    • If you recorded a video in the app, you can tap the ghost icon to line up objects from the previous clip you recorded in the app before recording the next one.
  • Tap Next.
  • Tap on a page to start designing, add text or add other effects. 
  • From here, you can tap Next to go directly to the Finishing touches page (skip to step 9), or you can tap the Pages button at the top of the screen. Tapping Pages will take you to the carousel view to choose additional images or videos and/or preview your Idea Pin.
  • Tap Done.
  • Tap the the add icon to add up to 20 pages.
    • Once you've added your images or videos, you can tap Preview to see how your Idea Pin will look before publishing and make sure your important information is within the safe zones.
  • Once you’ve added your images or videos, tap Next to go to the Finishing touches page. 
  • Fill out some information about your Pin:
    • Title: Add a title for your Idea Pin.
    • Cover: Tap Edit cover to choose a thumbnail for your Idea Pin cover if it's a video.
    • List: Add Ingredients, Supplies, or Notes for your Pin.
    • Board: Optionally choose a public board to save your Idea Pin to or tap Create board to create a new one. If you do not select a board, you can find your Idea Pin on your profile in the Created tab after publishing.
    • Tags: Search and add up to 10 related tag topics to add to your Idea Pin to reach people searching for similar ideas.
    • Settings: Tap Advanced Settings, then toggle the switch to allow comments, allow takes or to show shopping recommendations. Shopping recommendations are currently only available to selected users at this time.
    • Schedule date: Select the date and time you’d like your Pin to be published. 
  • Tap Publish.
  • Review the date and time you’ve chosen and tap Schedule to confirm.
  • Once you’ve scheduled your Pin, you can go back and edit the Pin’s board and title.
