Overview

Showcase ads contain multiple cards with explorable features, giving you a way to tell your story, share content and promote products on Pinterest. People can tap interactive elements, swipe through different cards and visit a variety of outbound links.

How Showcase ads work

Showcase ads contain three main parts:

  • Title Pin: Can be a standard size (2:3 ratio) image or video. Your title Pin will also appear as the first card in your ad.
  • Cards: In addition to the title card, you can add up to four more cards. Images within cards must be static. A preview of each card will appear at the bottom of the Pin for users to swipe through.
  • Features: On each card, users will find features they can tap to go directly to any outbound link. You can add up to three features per card.
  • Keep in mind that while your ad itself cannot be saved, individual cards and features in your ad can be saved as Pins.

    How to create Showcase ads

You can create the Pins featured in your Showcase ad before you set your campaign, or you can create everything all at once in Ads Manager.

If you create your Pins separately (before creating your Showcase ad), your card Pins can only link to your claimed website, but the title Pin and feature Pins can link anywhere. To link to a different site or landing page, we recommend using Ads Manager to create your Pins.

You’ll need to create one title Pin and one to four collections Pins, which will become cards in your showcase ad.
