When someone takes an action on your website, such as signing up for a newsletter or buying a product, it's known as a conversion. There are nine different conversions you can track:

  • Pagevisit: Views of primary pages, such as product pages and article pages
  • Viewcategory: Views of category pages
  • Search: Searches on your website
  • Addtocart: Items being added to shopping carts
  • Checkout: Completed transactions
  • Watchvideo: Video views
  • Signup: Sign-ups for your products or services
  • Lead: Interest in your products or services
  • Custom: Special event unique to your site
  • Review your event history

    Take a look at an overview of event activity on your website.

  • Log in to your Pinterest business account
  • Click  the hamburger icon  at the top-left of the page
  • Under Business, click Conversions
  • Scroll to Event history
  • Review conversion reporting
  • Log in to your Pinterest business account
  • Click  the hamburger icon  at the top-left of the page
  • Under Ads, click Reporting
  • Click the Table:  the directional-chevron-down icon  dropdown and select Performance
  • Depending on what event codes you’ve added to your site, they'll be listed throughout the table along with the number of times they’ve happened during the selected timeframe. Learn more about how you can use the reporting dashboard.
