On some static Pins, we’ll use our visual search technology to automatically identify the shoppable product categories within that Pin using category labels and white dots. People on Pinterest can tap the labels and dots to run a visual search to find similar products, so they can make the ideas they find on Pinterest come to life.
If you’re creating content and do not want visual search suggestions appearing on your Pins, you can opt-out individual Pins or all of your published Pins, as well as any Pin associated with your claimed domain. Follow the steps below to change the settings.
If you’ve followed the steps below and you cannot see the opt-out option in your account settings, contact us and let us know. Remember to provide your domain link or the links to the specific Pins you want to opt-out.
