We sometimes block links that redirect to other pages, contain misleading, inappropriate or spammy content, or otherwise violate our Terms of Service or Community guidelines. If a Pin leads to a blank page, we might automatically replace that link with a more useful one.

Edit a link

If we blocked the link you provided or added the wrong website on one of your Pins, you can edit it.

Note: You can only edit links on Pins that you created. You can't update links on Pins that you've saved from Pinterest or through the browser button.

  • Click on a Pin to open it
  • Click the edit icon
  • Edit the website link in the Website field
  • Click Save
  • Tap on a Pin to open it
  • Tap the ellipsis icon
  • Tap Edit Pin
  • Edit the website link in the Website field
  • Tap Done
  • Tap on a Pin to open it
  • Tap the ellipsis icon
  • Tap Edit Pin
  • Edit the website link in the Website field
  • Tap Done
  • When possible, link directly to the source. Since we don’t allow certain redirects or URL shorteners, this is the best way to make sure your links work properly.
