Pinterest Web Analytics helps businesses and website owners understand how Pinners are engaging with their content.
View your website’s analytics
In order to use Pinterest Web Analytics, you'll need a verified website and you'll have to switch to Pinterest's new look.
To access your analytics:
On the Site Metrics tab, you'll see:
You can change the date range for your results from the left date menu, and you can export your results to a CSV file on the right.
You can also toggle to see your website’s most recent Pins, most repinned Pins, and most clicked Pins:
You can also export a CSV file of the 100 most recent, repinned or clicked Pins from the date range you chose.
We started collecting data for verified websites on November 1, 2012. Your data will go back to that date or the date you verified your website on Pinterest.
Unfortunately, there's no way for us to retrieve data from before these dates.
My Pinterest Web Analytics clicks are higher than in other analytics tools
It's normal to see more clicks counted in Pinterest Web Analytics than in other analytics tools (like Google Analytics) because we're tracking clicks, not visits.
So, if a person clicks on two of your Pins within thirty minutes, Google Analytics only registers those clicks as one visit, but Pinterest Web Analytics counts it as two clicks.
It’s also possible for a person to go to your site and leave before your website analytics tracking code can record the visit.
Why don’t I have the option to use Pinterest Web Analytics?
You’ll only have access to Pinterest Web Analytics if you've verified your website and are using Pinterest's new look.
If you just verified your website, you won't see your data for a few days.
If you’re unable to verify your website, then you won’t be able to use Pinterest Web Analytics at this time.
If you’ve found a data issue, let us know.
We’d love to hear your feedback on Pinterest Web Analytics.
