Anteriormente, era posible conectar tu cuenta de Instagram, YouTube o Etsy para que se te atribuyese tu contenido de esas plataformas cuando alguien lo compartiera en Pinterest. Esto significaba que cuando alguien compartía contenido de tus cuentas de redes sociales conectadas en Pinterest, tu información de perfil de Pinterest aparecía junto a este.

Ya no es posible conectar tus cuentas de redes sociales. Sin embargo, los Pines que se guardaron en Pinterest desde tus cuentas de redes sociales conectadas anteriormente seguirán estando guardados en Pinterest y se te seguirán atribuyendo.

A partir de ahora, si se guarda nuevo contenido en tableros de Pinterest desde tus cuentas de redes sociales conectadas anteriormente, la información de tu perfil de Pinterest no aparecerá junto a este.

Las personas que tengan cuentas para empresa de Pinterest que anteriormente habían conectado sus cuentas de redes sociales verán analytics de su contenido social que se compartió en Pinterest.

Claim your Instagram account
  • ​​Click the directional chevron down icon at the top-right of the screen to open your menu
  • Click Settings
  • Select Claimed accounts from the side menu
  • Click Claim next to Instagram
  • In the pop-up window, log in to your Instagram account
  • Select Allow to grant permissions for both Profile information and Media
  • After claiming an account or website, you can remove it by selecting the option to Unclaim. Your accounts will no longer show as linked in your Settings.

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest account
  • Tap your profile picture at the bottom-right corner of the screen
  • Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner
    • If you have a Pinterest business account, you’ll tap the ellipsis icon instead
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Claimed accounts
  • Click Claim next to Instagram
  • On the next screen, log in to your Instagram account
  • Select Allow to grant permissions for both Profile information and Media
  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest account
  • Tap your profile picture at the bottom-right corner of the screen
  • Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner
    • If you have a Pinterest business account, you’ll tap the ellipsis icon instead
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Claimed accounts
  • Click Claim next to Instagram
  • On the next screen, log in to your Instagram account
  • Select Allow to grant permissions for both Profile information and Media
  • Set up auto-publishing from Instagram

    After claiming your Instagram account, you'll see the option to set up auto-publishing.

  • ​​Click the chevron down icon at the top-right of the screen to open your menu
  • Click Settings
  • Select Claimed accounts from the side menu
  • In the Instagram section, click the chevron down icon underneath Publish future posts to (optional)
  • Select a board (or create a new one) for your Instagram posts
  • Choose whether you want to Include your Instagram posts from the last 90 days
    • If you keep this box checked, it may take up to 72 hours for your recent Instagram posts to appear as Pins (and some content may be uploaded out of order)
    • If you uncheck this box, only your future Instagram posts will be published to Pinterest.
  • Click Allow
  • Note: It may take up to 72 hours to sync Instagram posts to Pinterest.

    If you want to turn this feature off, use the option to Pause auto-publish. When this toggle is on, we will no longer create a new Pin when you post on Instagram.

  • Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner
  • If you have a Pinterest business account, you’ll tap the ellipsis icon instead
  • Tap Settings
  • Tap Claimed Accounts
  • Tap Instagram, then select Auto-publish
  • Select a board (or create a new one) for your Instagram posts
  • Choose whether you want to Include your Instagram posts from the last 90 days
    • If you keep this box checked, it may take up to 72 hours for your recent Instagram posts to appear as Pins (and some content may be uploaded out of order)
    • If you uncheck this box, only your future Instagram posts will be published to Pinterest.
  • Tap Allow
  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your Pinterest account

  • Social sharing tips and best practices
  • While it’s not required, we recommend keeping your Instagram public so people on Pinterest who engage with your content can view the original post.
  • When an Instagram post has multiple images and videos, only the first image or video will be uploaded to Pinterest as a new Pin.
  • You can import up to 150 Instagram posts per day to Pinterest. This is limited to posts that are less than 90 days old. To create a Pin from an older post, upload the image or video directly to Pinterest instead.
  • Business accounts on Instagram can only be linked by the primary account holder. If there are multiple accounts associated with your Instagram login, only the primary account will be synced to Pinterest.
  • Your Instagram posts will always auto-publish to the same Pinterest board. You can find the option to change the board by going to your Settings, then selecting Claimed accounts.
  • If your Instagram posts feature music you don't have permission to use on Pinterest, it will be muted. Learn more in our article on how to add music to Pins.
