You may have accidentally created a new account using a different email address.

Seeing Pins from people you’re not following?

You can click the Pin to see if you’re following that person or one of their boards. If you are, you can unfollow them.

You might also be seeing Picked for You Pins or Promoted Pins. If you’d like, you can leave feedback about Picked for You Pins.

 
Having trouble with your profile?
 

You can change your profile to control how others see you and your profile. These settings include things like your name, profile picture and location.

You can personalize your profile and add, edit or delete a board.

You can also learn more about using group boards and secret boards.

Having trouble with a group board invitation?
 
Check that you're following each other. Then, try removing the invitation and inviting the Pinner again (or asking them to remove and re-invite you). Keep in mind, if the person inviting you is not the board creator, then the board creator might need to approve the invite before you see it.

Having trouble with messages?
 
Right now, it's not possible to delete a message or sent Pin. To hide a conversation in your notifications, hover over the message and click the X. The conversation thread will reappear if the Pinner replies or sends you another Pin.
 
If you cannot send a message, make sure you're following each other.
 
Getting too many notifications?
 
You can change your notification settings from the Account settings page of your profile.
 
Having trouble finding things on Pinterest?
 
It takes a few days for new things to show up in Pinterest, so your profile, boards or Pins may not show up in search results right away.
 
When you search on Pinterest, you'll see trending searches, boards and Pinners. You can also change what you're searching for by tapping on the filter icon to the right of the search bar. You'll be able to search for your Pins, boards, and other Pinners there.
 
Getting too many emails from us?
 
You can change your email settings from the Account settings page of your profile.
 
Having trouble shopping on Pinterest?
 
If you’re running into problems finding buyable Pins, just tap the Search button and browser through the Shop section. Or enter a search term and scroll through the buyable Pins at the top. Learn more.
 
If you're having trouble after placing an order, make sure you contact the seller before you reach out to Pinterest. Because you're buying from the seller (and not from Pinterest), they can help you resolve most of your order-related problems. Learn more.

Having a different problem?
  1. Pinterest is having trouble "talking to" my site: This usually means that there’s something slowing down your site, so we recommend checking in with your web host or site developer.
  2. My widget is broken: Make sure you created this widget using our widget builder. If your widget is from somewhere else, we won’t be able to fix it.
  3. My Pin It button is broken: View the HTML code of your website and search for 'pinit.js.' If you can't find this code, this means that you are using a third party Pin It button that isn't supported. Go to the widget builder to generate code for an official Pin It button.

Having trouble with Analytics?

  1. Don't see any data in Pinterest Analytics? After creating a new business account or converting to a business account, it will take 48 hours for the latest data to load on Pinterest Analytics. If you've converted to a business account, Pinterest Analytics will show data from after your converted your account and not before. Right now we don't have metrics about followers. Sorry about that!
  2. Can't access analytics? Make sure you’ve converted to a business account.
  3. Don't see data for all Pins and boards? Analytics only shows Pin and board data from the past 30 days. To keep track of trends over time, try downloading your data.
To add Rich Pins, decide which kind of Pin you want, then apply to validate them.
 
Having a different problem?
  1. My URLs are not validating in the Rich Pin validator: Check the Rich Pin documentation to make sure you correctly implemented Rich Pin meta tags.
  2. My Rich Pins are showing the wrong information: Check the Rich Pin documentation to make sure you correctly implemented Rich Pin meta tags.
  3. My Product Rich Pin prices aren't updating: Take your product URL and validate them in the Rich Pin validator. Then, click the 'rescrape' button to force update Pins that link back to that URL.
My recipe Pins aren’t showing up correctly: If you have “hrecipe” tags, make sure you aren’t using microformat v1, since we only support microformat v2.

Seeing an error message?

  1. Make sure your website isn’t confirmed on another Pinterest account.

  2. If your website is a subdirectory (like https://etsy.com/store) then we can’t confirm it at this time

We block links if we think they might be spammy or unsafe.
To make sure a link doesn't get blocked:
  1. Check that the link goes directly to the website, not through a URL shortener (like bit.ly) or redirector
  2. Pin with our official Pin It button
 
In some cases, we block a website completely. If you think we made a mistake, just write to us with:
  1. A link to your website or blog
  2. A link to a pin that's showing you the block error

  1. Not seeing the Pin you want to promote? Make sure the Pin is eligible to promote.
  2. Having trouble loading ads.pinterest.com? Make sure you don't have any ad blockers enabled.
  3. Want to try Promoted Pins? If you’re a US-based business, you can get started at ads.pinterest.com. Businesses outside the US won't be able to participate just yet.

Look for an email from ad-reviews@account.pinterest.com to find out why your ads were disapproved.
 
Here are the top 5 reasons why Pins are disapproved:
  1. Excessive hashtags
  2. Currency in the Pin image or description
  3. Promotional material in the Pin image or description
  4. Excessive symbology or incorrect grammar
  5. Targeting irrelevant terms

  1. Is your credit card being declined? Right now, we’re only accepting US, UK, IE, and CA credit cards. We aren’t accepting prepaid cards. 
  2. Want to know how much Promoted Pins cost? There’s no minimum cost. Instead, the amount you pay will depend on your targeted audience and your bid. 
  3. Need a receipt? We’ll email you a receipt to the billing email on file whenever we charge your card.
