Get a Pinterest account

Pinterest is a visual discovery engine for finding ideas like recipes, home and style inspiration, and more.

Set up a Pinterest account to discover Pins you love and save them to boards to keep your ideas organized and easy to find.

If you’ve never used Pinterest before, you can create a new personal account.

If you’ve used Pinterest before and would like to create an additional account that’s separate from your existing personal account and uses a different email, you can create a second account.

Create a personal account

Create a new personal account to discover Pins and save them to boards.

Creating an account means you accept Pinterest’s Community guidelines and Privacy Policy.

Go to Pinterest
Enter your Email, Create a password, and enter your Age
Click Continue
Click Next
Select how you identify
Select your language and country/region from the dropdown menus
Select 5 or more topics
Click Done

Download the Pinterest app onto your device to create a Pinterest account.

Open the Pinterest app on your device
Enter your Email address, then tap Continue
Create a Password, then tap Next
Enter your Full name, then tap Next
Enter your Age, then tap Next
Select how you identify
Select your country or region, then tap Next
Select 5 or more topics, then tap Next
If you’d like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done or tap Skip

Download the Pinterest app onto your device to create a Pinterest account.

Open the Pinterest app on your device
Enter your Email address, then tap Continue
Create a Password, then tap Next
Enter your Age, then tap Next
Select how you identify
Select your country or region, then tap Next
Select 5 or more topics, then tap Next
If you’d like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done

Create an additional personal account

If you already have a personal account but would like to create an additional account, you can do so using a different email address. Once created, you can connect your accounts to easily switch between linked accounts.

Creating an account means you accept Pinterest’s Community guidelines and Privacy Policy.

Log into your personal Pinterest account
From the top-right of your screen, click the directional chevron down icon, then click Add account
Under Create a new personal account, click Create
Enter your Email, Create a password, and enter your Age
Click Continue
If you’d like, click the edit icon to change your name, then click Next
Select how you identify
Select your language and country/region from the dropdown menus
Select 5 or more topics
Click Done

Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your personal Pinterest account
From the bottom-right of your screen, tap you profile picture
From the top-right of your screen, tap the nut icon
Tap Add account
Tap Create a new personal account
Enter your Email address, then tap Continue
Create a Password, then tap Next
Enter your Full name, then tap Next
Enter your Age, then tap Next
Select how you identify
Select your country or region, then tap Next
Select 5 or more topics, then tap Next
If you’d like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done or tap Skip

Open the Pinterest app on your device and log into your personal Pinterest account
From the bottom-right of your screen, tap you profile picture
From the top-right of your screen, tap the nut icon
Tap Add account
Tap Create a new personal account
Enter your Email address, then tap Continue
Create a Password, then tap Next
Enter your Full name, then tap Next
Enter your Age, then tap Next
Select how you identify
Select your country or region, then tap Next
Select 5 or more topics, then tap Next
If you’d like, follow creators based on your interests, then tap Done or tap Skip

Convert your personal account to a business account

If you have a personal account but would like to use your account for business purposes, you can convert your personal account to a business account. If you decide to convert your account, you’ll still keep all of your existing Pins and followers. You can switch back to a personal account at any time.
